A goddess shrine on the Chennai–Tiruvannamalai road that grew around a swayambhu stone exposed when a storm uprooted a neem tree in 1966. Villagers first raised a hut over the stone, and the image of Adi Parashakti was installed in November 1977.
The neem tree that stood here is said to have dripped a healing nectar, and the Mother is believed to dwell in the snake mound as a cobra so as to keep blessing devotees.
