A stone shrine beside Shite-thaung at Mrauk-U, raised as an ordination hall by King Thazata between 1515 and 1521 and rebuilt as a temple by King Raza II in 1607 to enshrine a tooth relic he had brought from Ceylon. Its octagonal core is ringed by two concentric passageways and crowned by a bell-shaped stupa with eight smaller stupas at the corners.
