A temple on the bank of the Manimala river where Shiva and Parvati are enshrined together in a single sanctum, a pairing said to be among the rarest in Kerala. Its eight-day Pongala in the month of Kumbham draws thousands of women who cook offerings along a two-kilometre stretch around the shrine.
