History & significance

A temple-town in Labpur block of Birbhum district recognised as one of the 51 Shakti Pithas. It draws large numbers of pilgrims to its annual Magh Purnima fair.

When Mahadeva danced across the world carrying the remains of Sati, her lower lip is said to have fallen at Fullara.
