Reckoned the oldest temple in East Java, a Shaivite shrine whose garbhagriha holds a lingam and yoni and whose outer niche carries Durga Mahishasuramardini. The Dinoyo inscription places it in 682 Saka, 760 CE, under King Gajayana of Kanjuruhan, and it keeps the older Central Javanese temple form despite its East Javanese setting.
