A stone temple at Shahad in Thane district raised by the Birla family and dedicated to Vithoba and Rukmini, the deities of the Maharashtrian Varkari tradition. Carved figures cover its inner and outer walls, stone elephants stand at the entrances, and its setting has been used as a location in Hindi films including Suhaag of 1979.
