A Shakta pitha at Kangra town, counted among the fifty-one seats of the goddess and one of the most visited temples of Himachal Pradesh. The present building replaced the shrine destroyed by the 1905 Kangra earthquake.
The left breast of Sati is said to have fallen here when Vishnu divided her body into fifty-one parts.
