A Ganesha temple at Erandwane on Karve Road in Pune, once held by Haripant Phadke, a sardar of the Peshwas, and later given to the Peshwas as dowry. Its image is prized for a trunk turning to the right, a form regarded as rarer and more sacred, and the shrine draws large crowds through Ganesh Chaturthi.
