A wayside shrine on the Daunne pass at Dumkibas in Bardaghat, Nawalparasi District, holding both a Durga shrine and a Shivalaya; its founding is attributed to Jung Bahadur Rana, while the present building dates from 2055 BS and has been looked after by the local user committee since 2049 BS.

The Daunne hill was known in ancient times as Trikut Parbat and is held to have been a place of meditation for the sage Valmiki and for Mayadevi, the mother of the Buddha.
