The samadhi temple of the saint Gajanan Maharaj, who died in 1910, administered by a trust formed in 1908. It has made Shegaon one of the largest pilgrimage centres of Vidarbha, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors a year.
A dhuni fire lit by the saint is said to have burned continuously beside his samadhi ever since.
