A temple about 60 km from Bengaluru, unusual in housing Subramanya and Narasimha together in one sanctum, and developed by the Ghorpade rulers of Sandur. It is one of the principal south Indian centres for the propitiation of Ketu.
Both images are believed to have risen out of the earth of their own accord, and childless couples who make vows here are held to be granted children.
