A cluster of Jain temples on Mount Girnar in Junagadh district, built in grey granite with marble carving. The Neminath temple was rebuilt in 1129 by Sajjana, governor under Jayasimha Siddharaja, the Ambika temple predates 784 CE, and further shrines were added by merchant patrons in the 15th century. The site is one of the Svetambara Pancha Tirth.
Neminath is said to have renounced the world after seeing animals penned for slaughter at his own wedding feast, and to have attained omniscience and moksha from Girnar's highest peak.
