Kudroli, Mangalore, Karnataka · 12.8761°, 74.8316°
Built at Kudroli in Mangalore in 1912 by the Billava leader Koragappa and consecrated by the social reformer Narayana Guru, who brought its Shiva lingam himself, the temple was founded so that the Billava community could worship on its own terms. A 1991 rebuilding in Chola style added a sixty-foot gopuram, and the temple hosts the city's Mangalore Dasara.
