History & significance

The main gurdwara of Klang and the third home of the town's Sikh congregation, built between 1993 and 1995 with donations from Sikh communities across Malaysia and opened in February 1996. The first Sikh place of worship in Klang was a wooden building put up around 1900 by some fifty Sikhs serving in the Federated Malay States Police.
