History & significance

Stands about three kilometres east of Takht Sri Patna Sahib in a garden that belonged to the Patna nobles Rahim Bakhsh and Karim Bakhsh, where the sangat and the young Gobind Singh came out to receive Guru Tegh Bahadur on his return after four years away. An old well still in use and the stump of the tamarind tree under which they met survive on the site.
