The Jagannath temple of Baripada in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha, built in 1575 by Maharaja Baidyanath Bhanj according to its inscription. Its Rath Yatra is noted for the Subhadra chariot being pulled by women alone.
The king is said to have been turned away from darshan at Puri and, after penance, told in a dream to build a temple at Baripada where Jagannath himself would come down to his devotee.
