A Gaudiya Vaishnava temple on Hare Krishna Land off the East Coast Road, begun in March 2002 and consecrated on 26 April 2012 at a cost of about 100 million rupees on 45,000 square feet, funded by some 8,000 life patrons; it descends from the Chennai centre ISKCON opened at Kilpauk in 1975.
