जागेश्वर धाम
Jageshwar, Almora, Uttarakhand · 29.6384°, 79.8541°
A Himalayan group of more than 125 stone temples in Almora district, dated between the 7th and 14th centuries and protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. Long a centre of Pashupata Shaivism, the cluster is unusual in that many shrines appear to be memorials rather than working places of worship.
