The chief seat of Mahima Dharma, an Odishan sect that rejects image worship, standing where the villages of Joranda, Natima and Patna meet, about 24 km north of Dhenkanal. It holds the samadhi pitha of the sect's founder Mahima Goswami; the present temple was built in the early 20th century on a shrine the article traces to the early 14th, and the order's ascetics may not sleep two consecutive nights in one place.
