ज्योतिबा मंदिर

A hill shrine about eighteen kilometres north-west of Kolhapur, at some 3,124 feet, whose present temple was built by Ranoji Shinde in 1730. A Kedareshwar shrine was added by Daulatrao Shinde in 1808, and great fairs are held here on the full moons of Chaitra and Vaishakha.
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are said to have taken birth together as Jyotiba to destroy the demon Ratnasura and free the country of him.
