A Kali temple in the Shahi Bazaar of Kalat, ascribed to the pre-Islamic Sewa dynasty, from which the town's older names Kalat-i-Seba and Kalat-i-Nichari derive. Its marble image of the goddess standing on Shiva is reckoned the second largest Kali statue in Asia; looted and broken in 1909-10, it was mended and reconsecrated, and a three-day festival is kept each January.
