A great wooden public pavilion beside Kathmandu Durbar Square, later given an inner shrine to the yogi Gorakshanath; excavation with radiocarbon and OSL dating placed its oldest fabric in the Licchavi era of the 7th century. It collapsed in the 2015 earthquake and has since been rebuilt.
