A Shaivite compound of one east-facing main shrine and three ancillary temples, with a lingga-yoni in the cella and images of Durga Mahishasuramardini, Nandiswara, Mahakala, Ganesha and Agastya; associated inscriptions date it to about 869. Sand miners struck it by accident on 24 November 1993 some six metres below the modern surface, where Merapi lava flows had buried it, and restoration has run in stages since 2017.
