A Shiva-Parvati temple at Kadakkal that also houses Dharma Sastha and Ayyappan; the original structure was destroyed and the present temple built in the 21st century, with the Travancore Devaswom Board taking over administration in 2011.
Temple lore holds that Shiva and Parvati came here disguised as forest dwellers to test Arjuna, and that Shiva revealed himself, granted him the Pashupatastra and then remained on the spot as a lingam.
