History & significance

An old Ganesha shrine in Kollam town rebuilt into its present form in 1984, also housing Nagaraja and Ayyappan. It is maintained by the roughly 270 Tamil Brahmin families of Kollam and is known for its Ashta Dravya Mahaganapathy Homam and Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations.
