A three-temple monastery complex in Bhutan's Bumthang valley, the oldest of whose shrines was raised by king Sindhu Raja beside a meditation cave. It also serves as the resting place of the remains of Bhutan's first three kings.
Oral tradition holds that Padmasambhava subdued the local deity Shelging Karpo here and left the imprint of his body in the cave, from which the site takes its name.
