A Chinese Buddhist temple on Waterloo Street in Singapore's Rochor district, begun in 1884 after the firm Chen Liang Cheng gave the land, and rebuilt in 1895 and again in 1980. Its image of Cundi, a form of Guanyin, draws crowds of worshippers seeking good fortune.
