A Goud Saraswat Brahmin temple of the Dvaita tradition at Thalassery, built in 1831 on the site of an older shrine after the merchant Devdas Bhandari gave the Lakshmi Narasimha image early in the nineteenth century. It also holds Kodanda Rama and Venkataramana, has a three-tiered simhasana, and unusually faces north; it was consecrated by Sumatheendra Tirtha, fifteenth pontiff of the Kashi Math.
