History & significance

A hilltop Birla temple in Bhopal whose foundation stone was laid in 1960 by Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kailashnath Katju and which was inaugurated in 1964 by Dwarka Prasad Mishra. Besides the Lakshmi Narayan sanctum it houses images of Shiva, Jagdamba and Hanuman.
