A Ganesha temple at the junction of Keong Saik Road and Kreta Ayer Road in Chinatown, built in 1925 by the Nattukottai Chettiar community with funding from the Chettiars of Tamil Nadu. It replaced an older attap-roofed temple near Singapore General Hospital, which had served hospital employees, Outram Prison staff and soldiers of the Sepoy Lines until the government acquired that land in 1920; its five-tier gopuram tapers to represent the five senses.
