History & significance

A Buddhist temple in Nha Trang first erected in 1886 and moved to its present site in 1900 after a cyclone destroyed it, then renovated in 1940 and repaired after damage in 1968. It is dominated by a large white concrete image of the Buddha cast in 1964 and installed the following year.
