A Shakta shrine in the village of Nilok, about 27 km from Bhadrak town, where the goddess is venerated as a stone bearing a painted red face. The present temple dates from 1969 and its yagya mandap from 2000; the Makar Mela at Makar Sankranti is its principal gathering.

A Brahmin visitor is said to have seen children playing with a round stone under a tamarind tree, and after he and a villager both dreamt that Baulasuni dwelt there in the stone, the village began worshipping her as its protector.
