A Shakta shrine on the Prachi river at Kakatpur in Puri district, Odisha, whose present pidha-vimana temple was built in 1548 by the zamindar Panchanan Mitra Roychudamoni. It is closely tied to the Jagannath tradition, as the carpenters seek the goddess's guidance before the Nabakalebara rite.
The goddess is said to have appeared in a boatman's dream and directed him to lift her image from the Prachi, and the town's name is explained from Odia words for a crow that was detained at the spot.
