A modern Mahayana complex covering 4.5 hectares in the Cemara Asri estate at Medan, built from 1991 by the Indonesian Buddhist association and inaugurated in 2008. Its three worship halls seat between 1,500 and 2,500 people each, and it is described as the largest modern Buddhist temple in Indonesia.
