A small 10th–11th century Kesari-period shrine inside the Kharakhia Vaidyanath precinct at Bhubaneswar, with Mahishamardini as its enshrined image. The structure is now abandoned and decaying, its masonry split by cracks.
Tradition holds that the Kesaris raised the temple to mark a visit by the sage Markandeya.
