A hill temple to Murugan set on a granite outcrop about 12 km west of Coimbatore in the Western Ghats, run by the Tamil Nadu HR&CE department. It is popularly counted as a seventh addition to the Six Abodes of Murugan.
The sage Pambatti Siddhar is said to have done penance here, to whom Murugan first appeared as a serpent and then in his own form with Valli and Devasena.
