History & significance

A village Shiva temple raised about a century ago by the people of Mezhuveli under the poet and social reformer Muloor S. Padmanabha Panicker, and consecrated by Sree Narayana Guru. It stands on a former forest tract called Tholekavu, traditionally reckoned part of the Pandalam kingdom.
