A riverside shrine at Daraganj on the Ganga in Prayagraj, traced to the 10th century and rebuilt in the 18th by the Maratha ruler Shridhar Bhonsle. It draws large crowds at Nag Panchami and also houses images of Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha.
Vasuki served as the churning rope at the Samudra Manthana and afterwards rested at the Prayag sangam, where his wounds are said to have healed.
