The principal gurdwara of Bangladesh, on Neelkhet Road in Dhaka, marking the place associated with Guru Nanak's visit to Bengal in 1506–1507. A shrine was raised in the first half of the seventeenth century by the Udasi preacher Bhai Almast, the present Indo-Mughal building dates from 1830, and it was renovated in 1988–89.
