A 45-foot Kalinga-style temple at the foot of the Gandhamardan hills in western Odisha, built by Baijal Singh Dev of Patna State, where Vishnu is worshipped in the rare feline form of Marjara Kesari.
The deity is said to have taken cat form to chase the demon-mouse Musika Daitya into a tunnel beneath the hill, and to guard it still.
