Chotila (Pali district), Rajasthan · 25.8913°, 73.1987°
A roadside shrine on the Pali–Jodhpur highway near Chotila village, about 20 km from Pali, honouring Om Singh Rathore, who died in a motorcycle crash in 1988, together with the motorcycle itself. Travellers stop to offer incense, flowers, coconut, liquor, red thread and sweets, and an eternal flame is kept burning at the site.
After the crash the motorcycle is said to have kept returning to the same ditch however often the police impounded it, and travellers came to believe that Om Banna's spirit watches over those in distress on the road.
