A pagoda temple on the summit of Palanchok hill in Kavrepalanchok District, some 42 km from Kathmandu, enshrining an eighteen-armed image of Bhagawati revered as a protector against danger and misfortune; it is believed to have been raised during the reign of King Manadeva in the fifth century.

She is held to be the elder sister of all the other Bhagawati goddesses of Nepal.
