A Vishnu temple founded in 869 CE by the Ay king Karunandadakkan, its three-storeyed vimana fronted by a Garuda namaskara mandapa. Its copper plates record the endowment of an attached Vedic school for 95 students, making it a key document of early south Indian temple learning.
