പൂർണ്ണത്രയീശ ക്ഷേത്രം
Tripunithura, Kerala · 9.9450°, 76.3422°
The chief temple of Tripunithura and long the tutelary shrine of the Cochin royal family, where Vishnu is worshipped as Poornathrayeesa in the Santhana Gopala form. The present structure was raised after a fire destroyed the earlier building around 1920.
It is told that Vishnu gave the image of Poornathrayeesa to Arjuna after restoring to life the ten lost children of a Brahmin, and the sanctum was built in the shape of a chariot to mark that event.
