A Ganesha temple on Jalan Tukang Emas in Malacca, built in 1781 by Thavinayagar Chitty, leader of the Chitty community, on a plot the Dutch colonial government of Malacca granted him for a Hindu temple; the Dutch freehold grant supplies its date. A further altar within the temple is dedicated to Muruga.
