A Vaishnava temple in the Tallakulam quarter of Madurai, credited to the Nayak ruler Thirumalai Nayak and administered within the Kallalagar temple establishment. Its Venkatachalapathy is unusual in facing south.

The king is said to have come upon an angry image of Hanuman while hunting for a broken bell, and then to have received a vision of Venkatachalapathy that prompted him to raise the temple.
