The former state temple of the Pejeng kingdom, dated by a chronogram at its entrance to 1266 and holding a tall stone seat for Ganesha in the main courtyard along with Hindu sculpture of the 10th to 12th centuries. It is best known as the home of the Moon of Pejeng, a colossal early bronze kettledrum kept in the temple.
