The largest cluster of historic Hindu temples in Bangladesh, raised at Puthia in Rajshahi by the zamindars and rajas of the Puthia Raj family, whose estate was established in the 16th century. It includes the Pancha Ratna Govinda temple, the Bhubaneshwar Shiva temple built by Rani Bhubonmoyee Devi in 1823, and several smaller shrines faced with terracotta ornament.
