A nearly hundred-foot naba-ratna temple at Chetla raised between 1796 and 1809 by Babu Ramnath Mondal of the Bawali Raj family, and said to have been an inspiration for the later Dakshineswar Kali Temple. It survives as one of the last traces of the zamindari and ghat landscape that once lined the Adi Ganga.
