History & significance

A temple raised in 1931 over the samadhi of Baba Ramdevji, the Tanwar Rajput saint who founded the village. Its annual fair in the monsoon months draws devotees from several states without distinction of caste or creed.

Sthala katha — the legend

Baba Ramdevji is said to have taken samadhi in 1459 at the age of thirty-three, having founded the settlement and dug the Ram Sarovar tank.
